Hi there,
Glad to learn you're using QuickBooks Online Plus to streamline your work. I'd be glad to give you a hand with showing you how to track and record commission in QuickBooks.
Based on what you've described, it's important to note QuickBooks doesn't have a commission calculation feature. You'd have to use the Class tracking or Location tracking feature offered on the Plus subscription package. I encourage you to check out this helpful article with more info about: Tracking and recording sales for commissions.
At this time, you can unfile your sales tax using QuickBooks Online Accountant. If you don't have access to this version, I recommend contacting our support specialists for further assistance. If you have access to QB Online accountant, here's how you'd unfile the taxes:
- From the left menu, select Taxes.
- Select Sales Tax.
- Select the Returns tab.
- Locate the sales tax filing that you'd like to un-file.
- Under the Action column, open the drop down menu to view options.
- Select Undo filing.
- A window will appear asking Are you sure you want to go back? Review the information displayed and click Undo filing.
- A notification will appear next to your open filing, highlighting the date that the return was reopened.
I encourage you to check out this article for more info: How do I un-file a sales tax return? In case you need further assistance, feel free to contact our support team. Here's our contact details:
