Welcome to the QuickBooks community, Lyns!
QuickBooks Online has a number of reports to show you different receivables and with the report customization options, you're able to filter and set up reports as you need to see the information you'd like. I encourage you to go through the available reports in the Reports tab to find one that works for you.
Another option is to pull up the Audit Log. This log shows all of the activity that has happened in your books, including when transactions were created and emailed out. Like reports, you can filter results to see the information you need, so you could set up filters to only see your receivable transaction types and go from there.
If those don't quite work for you, give us a shout so we can learn more about what you're looking for. Knowing the specifics will help us narrow down the options and let you know what's available to you. Here are three ways you can get in touch.
I hope that helps! Stop by again if you need anything else. :)
The closest I can find to show this is selecting “Last Modified” on the AR aging detail report. However, the time stamps do not match the time sent and if there are any modifications to the invoice after send date (i.e. customer requires rate change) this will display the wrong date.
A feature should be added to show “Sent date and time.” The “sent” feature is only useful to ensure invoicing has been sent out, and this info is available directly on the Sales dashboard without pulling reports. I currently have to open individual invoices to see this correctly. We have several customers that pay based on date received rather than invoice date/terms. This method is time consuming.
Please make this feature available.
Hi, Lyns. Thanks for reaching back out.
I see what you're saying about the dashboard and reports. I think what you've suggested would be a great addition to the product, and it would help you keep track of the sent date and time in an easy-to-read format. I'd be happy to send off your feedback to our engineering team for review.
In the meantime, I'd recommend following the methods suggested by my colleague Laura as detailed above.
I'd like our team to look into your discrepancy with the send date displaying incorrectly. I recommend calling our phone support team so that we can have a closer look at why this may be happening. It's important that your report is showing the proper time stamps.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Have a fantastic day!
