Printing item description alignment out in invoice printing

nHello Vsim,

Thanks for sharing a few images of what's going on with the description alignment on your invoices when it comes time to print. It's subtle, but I can see how even this small shift can make a difference in how the invoice looks. I want to make sure that this gets resolved so your invoices are looking sleek and professional when they go out to your customers.

In these circumstances, it'll help to be able to speak with someone to clarify all the steps you've taken so far and what you're doing to make the adjustments. For instance, it's important to make sure that you're saving after making any adjustments and that you're using the correct template each time you do. From there, it'll help to know what sorts of changes you have made to the template.

While QuickBooks Desktop provides the opportunity to really get into form customization to make your invoices appear how you'd like them, making a large number of changes can also confuse the program and cause these sorts of display issues. One thing I recommend in these cases is leaving this template alone and then recreating it. This will help determine if the amount of changes you're hoping to do are something the program can handle.

You can also check for things like data damage to the company file, which can result in even small glitches that might look like this. Learn how to check for and resolve data damage in this article: Fix data damage on your QuickBooks Desktop company file

Finally, feel free to touch base with the QuickBooks Desktop support team. This will give you the change to explain your situation in more detail and an agent may be able to offer you further guidance. Due to COVID-19, support hours for all Desktop products are Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET, and you can learn more about how to get in touch and our support policies here: Intuit QuickBooks Desktop software support policies

Best of luck!
