Profit & Loss Reports by Quarter

Wondering if there is a way in QBO to produce a PL report that displays each quarter for 2019?

I am working on a DSCR report for the bank so this would be really helpful!

Many thanks,
Jonathan

Profit & Loss Reports by Quarter

Hi Jonathan,

QuickBooks Online makes it easy to filter reports for each quarterly period and I'll be happy to show you how.

First, you'll have to pull up the profit and loss report and here's how:

Step 1: On the QuickBooks dashboard, click Reports on the left sidebar menu.

Step 2: Once you click Reports, you will see a list of Favorited Reports at the top. QuickBooks automatically defaults the Profit and Loss Report as one of your Favorited Reports, so you don’t need to go looking around for it.

Step 3: Click the report labeled Profit & Loss.

Once you're on the P&L, navigate to where it says Report period at the top > click the drop-down arrow and select the Quarter you'd like to view  > click Run report. Now that you're able to see your quarterly results, you can open multiple tabs with different quarters or you can print out each quarter so you can compare them. I know how useful it would be to have a report which shows all quarters at once and I recommend you to leave feedback about this by clicking the Gear icon and looking for Feedback

Let me know if you have other questions. I'm here to help.
