Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! I'm here and happy to help you configure your HST number so it appears on your invoices and other sales forms. I know it's important to display this information and luckily, it's just a few easy steps to set it up. I'll walk you through it.
- Select Taxes from the left menu.
- Choose Manage sales tax on the Sales Tax page.
- Choose the downward arrow beside Add rate for the appropriate sales tax agency (example: Canada Revenue Agency).
- Click Edit agency settings.
- Add the HST number to the GST/HST number field.
- Click Save.
There's nothing more you need to do. Once you enter a number in that field, the program knows to add it to your forms. You'll see it in the header section, just under your address and other contact details.
