Hello mark67,

I know having accurate income numbers in QuickBooks is an essential part of managing your business and marking your invoices as paid should update the figures as needed. Since it's not, here are a couple troubleshooting steps you can take.

If you're logged into your account in a browser, try clearing the cache and cookies to make sure the browser and QuickBooks Self-Employed are running optimally. Temporary Internet data can cause these sorts of issues, so once they're cleared out, things may kick back in action and update your income numbers.

Within the mobile app, you can try deleting and re-downloading it to see if that resolves the issue.

Otherwise, I recommend getting in touch with our dedicated QuickBooks Self-Employed team through our email contact form on the Contact Us page. Simply choose QuickBooks Self-Employed, fill out the form, fill out the email form, and someone will be in touch within 1 business day to help you sort this out.

Enjoy your day!

None of this helps. Also no income from any invoices paid or unpaid, in any year for profit and loss or tax reports, makes this program unusable for business. How can this be fixed?

Hello nancyp,

I want to make sure you're able to get this sorted out so your books are balanced and your transactions are entered correctly. I'll point you in the right direction.

My first recommendation is to try the troubleshooting I mentioned in my original response to make sure that it's not a simple browser or app issue that's causing this problem. If you're still having trouble after that, getting in touch with QuickBooks Self-Employed support for more in-depth troubleshooting is the best course of action.

You can either use the Contact Us link I gave in my previous response, or you can also use the in-product Assistant tool. When you open the tool, type and enter your question to see if the Assistant has any suggestions. If not, you can type and enter "talk to human" to reach a human agent. If you're not sure where to find the Assistant in your app or browser, check out this article: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed support

All the best to you!
