Can someone help me figure out why my company logo isn’t showing up on my invoices? It’s added to the custom template but doesn’t show in preview or email attachments?

At first I thought it was the file type so I tried .PDF .png and .jpeg but nothing has worked. I even edited the size of the file to see if that would help but nothing. Has anyone else had this issue?! Thank you in advance.

Hi @haley-warrencont

Let's make sure that the logo is set to be printed in your invoices. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Select Custom Form Styles.
  3. Click on the Edit link for the invoice template.
  4. In the Design tab, click on Make logo edits.
  5. Click on Show logo.
  6. Click on Preview PDF and click on Done.

Reach out back if this doesn't work out, but I'll be more than happy to help out.

Hi haley-warrencont.

Setting up your invoices to print and email out with your logo is one of the great ways QuickBooks Online lets you add your own personal touches to it. I'd be happy to help you get your logo showing on invoices.

QuickBooks Online makes adding a logo easy so you can customize your invoices and save time. In order for the logo to show up it would need to meet the following requirements:

  • a .gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpe, or .jpeg file
  • smaller than 10 MB
  • 24-bits or less in bit depth (or colour depth)
  • square-shaped, since rectangles don’t work
  • using the standard RGB colour space

If it meets these requirements and is still not showing I recommend following the steps in this article. You can also try clearing your cache and cookies and opening your QuickBooks in a private browser such as Google Chromes Incognito mode.

If you continue to have issues with your logo not showing while printing or emailing I suggest reaching out to our support team. You can reach them by using one of the following methods.
