The Sales Order tab in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is currently unavailable. However, you can use Estimates as a workaround to track sales order, wendy122.
To track customer orders, you can create an estimate to record order details and convert it to invoices once fulfilled.
Another option is to use the Custom form style feature to label the transactions as Sales Order for easier tracking.
Here’s how:
- Click the Gear icon and select Custom Form Styles.
- From the New Style drop-down menu, choose Estimate.
- Navigate to the Content tab.
- Select the Header section.
- In the Form Name field, replace Estimate with Sales Order.

- Click Done to save your changes.
