How can I set up a pay now on my receipt

Hello kevin-kevinkidde,

Congrats on your first post in the Community. I'm happy you're looking to take advantage of the Online Payments feature which QuickBooks offers. Don't worry, I'll be happy to steer you in the right direction.

Setting up Online payments is an easy process. In order to start receiving payments from your clients through QuickBooks, you'll need to visit this link: Set up Online Payments. Once you're on the site, navigate through the options which show you how to add the feature to your QuickBooks account.  It's also important to note that our payments module accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Apple Pay only.

In case you need anything, don't hesitate to reach back to me. I'll be happy to give you a hand.

How can I set up a pay now on my receipt

Hey Kevin,

To answer your Question no it doesn't "Cost extra", but you will pay a processing fee (Currently 2.9%+.25c) on any payments taken by Credit card. This is fairly standard practice, Square, Stripe or Paypal for example all charge ~the same as QBO Payments.

The one major Advantage to QBO payments is that it's right there on your Invoice when you send it so your chances of getting paid go WAY UP. and the bonus is that QBO automatically does the bookkeeping on these payments which is nice, it posts the Payment and the fees deducted so your bank stays nice and clean.

Setting it up is a fairly easy process, you can do it using this link  while you're logged into your Quickbooks. Or just click the little Get Set up link/Check box on an Invoice of yours

Hope this helps !
