There are ways to import your list of customers along with sub-customers, Jennyunh.
Before we provide the right steps for you, I would like to ask where do you plan to import your data? Is it still to QuickBooks Online (QBO) or to another third-party app?
If it's to QBO, please note that there is no direct mapping for sub-customers during the import process. However, you can modify the exported CSV file. From there, you can add a colon (:) next to the parent's name to indicate the sub-customers. I'll add a screenshot below for your visual reference:
