I cant seem to make an invoice with gst on my tablet.

I appreciate you for reaching out!

To better assist you, could you let us know if you're seeing any specific error messages when trying to add GST to the invoice?

It's possible the issue is related to the QuickBooks app on your tablet. In the meantime, you can troubleshoot the app as this often resolve unusual behavior on the app.

Here's how:

  1. From the Menu, select Help & Feedback.
  2. Choose Refresh Data and click Refresh Data again.

Also, make sure your app is updated to the latest version. To do this, go to your App Store or Google Play Store and update the app. If the same thing happens, consider uninstalling the app, then download and reinstall it again.

I encourage checking out this article to know the compatible browsers for your device: QuickBooks Online Access for Mobile Devices.

On top of that, here are some articles on recording sales tax in QuickBooks Online to help you when it’s time to record a payment for the current fiscal year:

I cant seem to make an invoice with gst on my tablet.

We have been entering invoices on our tablet. It has been giving us the option of GST or no tax etc. Now there is no such option on the page. Quickbooks on the laptop is normal but as of a few days ago both our phones and our tablet does not have any tax option on the invoice.

Have you tried the troubleshooting steps suggested by my colleague above? These steps can help resolve the issue with the tax options when making an invoice in your mobile app, Friesensam.

If you've gone through those steps and the problem still persists, it would be best to reach out to our Phone Support team. They can further review this unusual behavior and provide a resolution specific to your account or device configuration.

Here's how you can get in touch with them:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click the Help icon.
  3. Select the Assistant tab to get help from the QB assistant, or choose the Search tab to enter your question and find Help articles.
