We periodically review payments you accept through QuickBooks Payments to keep everything secure. We usually complete this review within 2 business days. After that, your bank might take another 1 to 2 business days to settle the funds into your account.
Since the total time can take up to 4 business days, your 48-hour wait is still within the standard processing window.
You can check the exact status of your funds at any time using the QuickBooks Digital Assistant.
If 4 business days pass and you still don't have your funds, the payment might be on hold. You can resolve this by following these steps:
- Check your email for a hold notification, which includes instructions and a link to the Resolution Centre.
- Log in to the Resolution Centre with your QuickBooks credentials to track your case status, chat with an expert, and securely upload any requested documents.
- Verify that your direct deposit account information is accurate and up to date in your settings.
