Is there a way to see an invoice, exactly as it will be send to client (not the preview), before sending?

Hi there,

I'd be happy to assist you from here. It's important to know what your invoice will look like once the customer receives it. Apart from using the print/preview feature, the only other way I can think of would be emailing the invoice yourself instead. When creating the invoice, just make sure to replace the customer email with your email. That way you'll know what the invoice looks like going forward.

Here's a helpful link which you may find useful https://community.intuit.com/articles/1770326. The link will show you how to add a personal touch to your invoices. Once you've saved that template, you won't have to worry about what it'll look like on the customer's end. Let me know if you have further questions. I'll be here to help.

Hi JamesM,

Could you provide any updated link as it is not valid anymore.

Plus my desktop Quickbook 2012 facing similar issue.

Creating invoice when preview does not look exactly, some

of the text alignment are out. Already tried changing the

template fonts to Arial regular does not seem to help.

Any advise.

Thank you

Hi Vsim. Thanks for taking the time to chime in on this thread. It's important you're able to customize your sales forms and I encourage you to check out this article here which shows you how to do that in QuickBooks Desktop. When did you start experiencing the template issue on your end?
