Under accounts it also says updated 29 minutes ago but on the transactions page nothing changes. Getting very frustrated with the support as no one seems to know whats going on. Is this just me or are there others out there dealing with the same issue?

Hi there Fergie and welcome to the QuickBooks Community!

Using the Online Banking or bank feeds feature in QuickBooks Self-Employed is an efficient way to enter your transactions. You can skip manual transaction entry and let QuickBooks do the work for you - all you'll need to do is approve. When this feature doesn't work as expected it can interrupt your workflow, so I want to make sure your transactions are updating.

You've done a great job troubleshooting so far. I noticed in your other post that you've already cleared your browser history, switched to a new browser, and tried using an Incognito window. These are all fantastic steps and the first things I would suggest you try in order to get to the bottom of this issue. Since we can rule out a browser issue causing the interruption, it may be that there's a problem with the connection between your bank and QuickBooks Self-Employed. The next step is to try accessing your financial institution's online banking portal.

If you're unable to access your online banking portal, it may be that your bank is experiencing an issue. Check in with your financial institution's support team for advice on how to proceed. If you're able to access your online banking portal without issue, it's important that you report this issue to the QuickBooks Self-Employed support team so that they can have our engineers get to the bottom of this.

To reach out to support, please follow these steps:

  1. While logged into QuickBooks Self-Employed from a browser, select Assistant from the top bar.
  2. Type and enter "talk to human" in the chat field.
  3. Follow the prompts to connect with an agent.

In the meantime, I have a workaround that will allow you to manually upload your missing transactions so that you can get back to business. Here's how to Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed. Be sure to keep an eye out for duplicate transactions - this can happen on occasion when bringing transactions in this way. Just ensure that you don't approve a transaction that's already been entered and you should be good to go.

I know you'll be on the way to getting your bank feeds up and running in no time. Enjoy your week!
