Operating a small business means that you want the best tools to save yourself time and effort. Your bookkeeping is made so much simpler with QuickBooks Online, and having the option to customize your experience is important. I can see why you'd like to re-name some of your tax codes for a more straightforward workflow, and I'd be happy to shed some light on that.
When you add a new tax code to QBO, you're able to customize the name of the tax accordingly. Once added, however, you're unable to edit or re-name the tax code. I know this would be really helpful in staying organized, and I want to make sure this suggestion is passed on to our product development team.
