I have uploaded my bank and credit card transactions. I have categorized them and added them. I forgot GST. Can I add GST now or do I have to redo everything?

Adding your transactions with the proper tax rates is crucial for managing your business finances. I’ll be happy to assist. With QuickBooks Online, you can import and add bank transactions in a few easy steps. That being said, the system will not allow you to add a bank transaction without choosing the corresponding tax.
If you already added the transactions and wish to change the tax code, do as follows:

  1. Select Banking
  2. Select the bank account you wish to work with
  3. Select the Reviewed tab
  4. Select the transaction you want to edit
  5. Select the link under the ADDED OR MATCHED column
  6. Edit the transaction as needed
  7. Select Save
