I appreciate you reaching out to the Community. I'd be happy to share info about recording a sales tax return.
I'll go over the steps below, but I recommend reaching out to your accountant to find out if there are any stipulations for an non-profit organization.
- First of all, open your sales tax center by clicking on the Taxes tab.
- Make sure you're on the Sales Tax tab and Returns tab (see screenshot).
- Find the relevant filing.
- Click the option in the Action column (it should be Record Payment).
- Select Refund and then fill in the refund information.
- Click Save.
