How do I get rid of form T2203 from Profile%3F%0D%0A

Profile keeps has included for T2203 for my two clients who are NOT self-employed.  The Help Desk told me to delete the form BUT it will not delete.  How do I get rid of it?

How do I get rid of form T2203 from Profile%3F%0D%0A

Is it actually showing up in the "A. Used" forms, or just in the #9.All" forms in the Form Explorer?  If you go into the T2203 on your client, it will look like it is being used as the #'s at the top are fllled in, but it is not actually being used. At least, that is what it looks like on my dummy taxpayer with business income and only one jurisdiction.

If you are sure T2203 is not needed, clear the T2203 from the form menu, then sign off the warning. This will allow you to e-file the return

How do I get rid of form T2203 from Profile%3F%0D%0A

I can get rid of the form but my warning keeps saying that I need the form. My client works from home. Her business is incorporated and she is not self employed. She has employees she pays to do the job. Why do I need to put down self employment income?

If she is incorporated, there should be nothing at all on her tax return about business income.  She should only have salary income from the company, or dividend income from the company.  Is there anything at all filled in on the T2125, or on the Info screen where it asks for Province of Employment?  Those areas should all be blank.

Alternatively, does she have a T5013 showing business income?

I spent over an hour online with Profile and got the problem rectified. Her husband had self employment income and the system seemed to think she should too. We put in an applicable code in the statement of business earnings and zeroed out the exemption earnings in the T2203. We were then able to clear the CRA warnings and efile. She only had employment earnings on a T4 and has had only this one T4 for several years. I told her next time to put her husband on payroll for a few months while he is working, do not pay contract wages and give him a T4A at the end of the year.
