This year other deductions has an option for allocating taxpayer and spouse's share of accounting and investment fees. When I record 50% to the taxpayer, it takes the percentage, and posts on the taxpayer's return. The other 50% share isn't showing up on the spouse's return - what is the point of this feature if it doesn't update the spouse's return?
That is a ProFile error: if the top line is completed in that section, or just the percentage split, the amount(s) will transfer to the coupled spouse. This of course is an error in ProFile an will be resolved in version 2020.4.7 targeted for release Mid to late May 2021.
