When I enter anything in this area and then hit TAB to go to the next data entry field, the software takes me to the field BELOW where I just entered data. Logically it should take me to the next field on the same line, to the right. I cannot understand why this is programmed this way. And it is annoying.
This feature worked properly up until the 2018 software, but not in 2019 or 2020, and still not in 2021.
Would it be possible to get this fixed at some point? If Intuit does not believe this needs to be fixed it would be good to get an explanation as to why they believe the TAB in this area should function in the way it does.
Thank you

One or two years ago I contacted Profile about that very issue, as I found it annoying, too, but apparently it could not be changed.
I suspect that I have contacted them about this in the past as well. But I am not going to check past emails.
This is a new tax season, a newest version of the software. This should have been corrected.
If it has not been corrected then there should be a USER based reason as to why it has not been corrected.
If it has not been corrected because it is too difficult or "cannot be programmed" then that is not an acceptable answer. The software should do what the user's require, not what is easiest for the programmers.
