Hello, Tjguthro. To change your tax rate, go to All Apps > Sales Tax > Manage Sales Tax and select the 5% tax rate to edit. If you're unable to change the existing rate, you may need to create a new 6% rate and make the old one inactive for future transactions.

If you use Automated Sales Tax, QuickBooks updates rates automatically based on the location. You don't need to adjust the percentage manually.
