Since you mentioned that you've set up the tax, let's ensure that you choose Exclusive of tax or Inclusive of tax in the "Amounts are" when creating an invoice to have the option to add GST.
To begin, if you've chosen out of scope in the "Amounts are" when creating an invoice, you won't have the option to add GST tax. This is because these transactions are not subject to GST as they fall outside the scope of GST/HST regulations.
Here's how to create invoice with GST:
- Navigate to the +New button, then select Invoice.
- Fill in the necessary information in the invoice.
- In the "Amounts are" drop-down, choose either Exclusive of tax or Inclusive of tax.

This will give you the option to add GST.
