Run the VAT Liability Report
The VAT Liability Report is a summary of your taxable and non-taxable sales, plus the total VAT you collected from customers. Here's how to run the report.
- Go to Reports
and select Standard reports (Take me there). - Select VAT Liability Report from the Type report name here
dropdown. - Select the Report period
dropdown. Select the correct date range depending on how often you file your VAT. - Select Customise.
- In Filters, select Tax agency from the Filter by â–Ľ dropdown.Â
- Select equals from the Condition â–Ľ dropdown.
- Look at the VAT amount column. Here, you can view the total VAT amounts you collected from your customers.
- To get a detailed look at what you owe, select any VAT amount. A transaction report opens that shows how much VAT you charged in each sale, and also shows you more info, like customers, transaction dates, and tax rate.
