Update your Intuit user account and get your data

Learn how to make updates to your QuickBooks user account.

Use your QuickBooks user account to manage settings for all of your QuickBooks Online products.

If you need to update your profile, security settings, or third-party apps, you can do it right from your QuickBooks user account. You can also download all of your data when you need to. Here's how.

View or update your info

  1. Go to the Intuit accounts page.
  2. Review the settings in the Sign in & Security, Personal info, and Data & Privacy sections.
  3. Select any field to make updates.

To access and update the account settings, follow these steps.

  1. Select Settings ⚙️ then Intuit Account.
  2. Review the settings in the Sign in and Security, Personal info, and Apps sections.
  3. Select the Add link in any field to add new information.
  4. Select Edit to change the setting in any field.

Review recent activity

  1. Go to the Intuit accounts page.
  2. Select Sign in & security.
  3. Select Account activity.

Here you can see recent sign-ins and their location. This helps you to detect suspicious activity on your account.

See connected apps

  1. Go to the Intuit accounts page.
  2. Select Sign in & security.
  3. Go to the Apps section.
  4. Review your connected apps.

Download your data

  1. Go to the Intuit accounts page.
  2. Select Data & privacy.
  3. Select Download.
