Hi there, gillian-gpaccoun.
Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. I'll be providing details on how SN number works in QuickBooks. Then, ensure you'll be able to print it when you create an invoice for your customer.
When printing sales entries in QuickBooks, it usually prints all the details manually entered on the page. That said, the number column or SN is automatically created by QuickBooks and that's why isn't included when you print it.

Once done, you can now create a new invoice and choose the item you've created above. You can also manually enter the SN number when making the entry. Then, print it.
Lastly, you may refer to this article to see various common printing issues and how to fix them: Fix QuickBooks Online printing issues on browsers for Windows.
Keep in touch if you need any more assistance with printing the invoice or if there's something else I can do for you. I've got your back. Have a good day, gillian-gpaccoun.
