My SGD bank account balance in the GL is correct but the balance of the same account in the balance sheet (in USD, home currency) is not correct. How can I fix it? Thanks

Thank you for joining the Community. Allow me to share some additional methods for determining why the balance sheet report does not match your register.

 

If your bank balance differs from your bank statement and rates, QuickBooks Online generates various currency values. We can also make sure to sort out the exact date and customize the data.

 

To fix this, I recommend changing the date of the report to match your fiscal year or the calendar year. Let me show you how: 

 

  1. From the Reports menu.
  2. Choose Balance Sheet.
  3. Select the appropriate report period from the Filter and date range.
  4. Hit Run Report.

 

Otherwise, you'll need to check the dates on the individual checks and deposits to fix the discrepancy. For additional help, I recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Support. Hi Christine, 

Thanks for replying but I am afraid that is not the solution. The real SGD bank balance is correct when I go to the individual account of QB, but when I check the balance sheet in USD (home currency is USD) there is a significant difference. And it doesn't depend on the date of the report. I will contact QB support. Thanks anyway.
