Hi there, @user00474. I'm glad to show you how to add a signature image to your invoices.
At this time, you can use the Attachments section to insert a signature image to your invoice. On the invoice creation screen, simply click on the Attachments box, then add your signature image from there.
Here's how:
Another option is to use a third-party tool that supports the process. You can check out one through the apps store.

Utilize a free invoicing app to have such feature and a connector to mirror the invoice data back into your QBO account.
I tried this and the signature doesn't show up on the invoice. Any other suggestions besides using a 3rd party app?
Hi there, @Shawn45.
I have other ways to insert a signature on your invoices. And that is to use an imported custom form style.
To do this, you would create a template through MS Word. Then, insert images including your signature from there. Before doing this, make sure the Import style feature is on.
Here's how:
To guide you on how to import and design custom form styles for your invoices or estimates in QBO, I suggest checking this article: Import custom form styles for invoices or estimates.

Hi! I am also trying to do this for a client but I don't see the option to import style as you suggest. It only says invoice, estimate or sales receipt. Has this feature been eliminated in current QBO versions? I'm working in Plus as a QB Accountant.
Thank you.
Thank you for chiming into this thread, @clpurtill1. Let me share information about adding a signature feature on the invoice in QuickBooks Online.
The option to insert a signature using an imported custom style given by my colleague is currently unavailable. However, you can use a third-party tool to support the process of adding a signature to your invoice.
Also, your customer has the option to add their signature using the QuickBooks Online mobile version for fast and secure transactions.
For future reference, you can check this article to help manage customer payments and keep track of transactions inside the QuickBooks:

Thank you for your reply. Can my client use the mobile app to add his signature to an invoice template, rather than needing to sign each invoice that goes out? Like the OP above, my client's invoices are not legal unless they are signed. I'm wondering if I create the template for him, can he open it on his mobile app and add his signature to it and then save it for all invoices in the future?
Accessing an invoice template in the QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app to add your client's signature is currently not possible, Clpurtill1.

In the meantime, I suggest requesting a picture of your client's signature on a white background and then attaching it in the Add a stamp, signature, or QR code section in your customized template. This way, your client's signature will be automatically included on future invoices, eliminating the need for them to sign each one individually. Please note that this feature is only applicable to the Airy new template.

Thank you. This is exactly what I need. But when I applied the Airy New template I don't see that option to add a stamp. I am working in Plus. Is this a feature available to me? Is it a Beta feature?
I'm delighted to hear that the information provided by my colleague was helpful, clpurtill1.
In QuickBooks Online Plus, the option to add a stamp, signature, or QR code has been introduced in a recent update. However, the feature might not have properly loaded due to browser cache-related issues, so let's conduct some troubleshooting steps to isolate and resolve the problem.
You can begin by accessing your QuickBooks Online account in a private window. Here are some keyboard shortcuts to help you out:
Once there, navigate to the Custom form styles page and check if the option is visible once you select the Airy New template. If everything looks good, I recommend returning to your regular browser and clearing its cache to remove outdated files. Alternatively, you can use other supported browsers.
I've found some helpful resources to enhance your experience with QuickBooks Online. For detailed guidance on customizing your sales forms, such as invoices, estimates, and sales receipts, check out this article: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Thank you.
