Why did all of my receipts and customers disappear? This is terrible!

Hi there, @usertheartslair. I can help you fix the issue with missing receipts and customers in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

A browser-related issue may affect this behavior. You can perform the basic browser troubleshooting steps to bring back your receipts and customer lists. First, open your QuickBooks using a private window. To save you time, use either of these keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P

 

Then, review your receipts and customers from there. If it works fine, go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use another supported and up-to-date browser to narrow down the result.

 

If you're getting the same result, I recommend checking out your audit log report to review possible deleted receipts and customer names.
