Why invoice number cannot auto run in the system

I'm glad to see you here in the Community, @noomoo-CS.

When you say invoice numbers cannot auto run in the system, are you referring to the invoice number not automatically generating when creating invoices? If so, you can turn on the Custom transaction numbers feature. This lets you set your own starting number.
 

Here's how:
 

1. Go to Settings, and select Account and settings.
   
2. Select Sales, then click anywhere within the Sales form content section.
3. Turn Custom transaction numbers on.
4. Click Save, then select Done.
   
    

Once enabled, if you create an invoice, you can now enter your preferred starting number. QuickBooks will automatically generate the next numbers in sequence or increment by 1, and you can still edit them if needed.

If the Custom transaction numbers feature is off, QuickBooks will still generate the number, but you won't have the ability to input your preferred number.
