The error points to the Class Name on the cell A1 of the budget template - but there's nothing wrong that i could find on that
Welcome to the Community, Clarine. The error you encountered while importing your budget into QuickBooks Online (QBO) might be caused by the template you used. This happens when the format of the template is not compatible with QuickBooks.
To fix this, you can download the budget template provided by QuickBooks to ensure compatibility and proper formatting. Additionally, avoid adding any extra columns to the downloaded template as this will prevent the budget file from uploading successfully.
Here's how:
After downloading the template, input your budget details into the file. When finished, make sure to save the file with a new name and confirm it is saved as a .xlsx file format, as this is the only file type QuickBooks accepts.
Once the budget file is ready, proceed with the standard import process.
You can then generate a Budget vs. Actual report once the import is complete to review your financial data.
If the error persists, I recommend contacting our Live support team for further assistance on this matter. They will be able to help you further with the tools and resources to pinpoint the exact root cause of the error.
If you have further concern, please feel free to reply. We're here to help.
