how to perform cash register? For each invoice that is paid by cash, we will click "receive payment" > save and close. After that, how do we transfer to cash register?

Will this interfere with incoming payments received into the Bank by bank transfers?

Hi evinna, you can transfer the received payment to a cash register using the bank deposit feature of QuickBooks. Let me provide you with information and guide you through the process.

 

If you receive the payment, do you deposit it into the undeposited funds? If so, you will need to make a deposit to deposit it into the cash register. To transfer it to the cash register, please follow these steps.

 

  1. Click the +New button.
  2. Select Bank Deposit.
  3. Choose an account from the Account Dropdown.
  4. Check the payment from the Select the payments included in this deposit.
  5. Click Save and close.

 

Please know that the incoming payments made to the bank via bank transfers will not cause any disruptions as long as the appropriate accounts are correctly selected during the transfer process.
