I've got some troubleshooting steps we can perform to get the Profit and Loss report working on your app, katy9.
I've checked here on our end and there's no reported case about this one. Let's make sure we meet the system requirements for QuickBooks App for Windows. Then, try resetting the application to refresh it and fix any issues while using the app. Here's how:
- Click Help on the navigation bar at the top.
- Select Reset App Data.
Just wait for a moment for the process to complete, then close the app. Be sure to right-click the app and Run as Administrator when re-opening. Once done, try running the profit and Loss report again. If the same thing happens, I'd suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the app to fix any damaged components on your QuickBooks App. Just follow the steps and details in QuickBooks App for Windows and Mac: General support article. Then, go to How do I uninstall the app? and How do I install the app? Mac section.
We can also run reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO) on the web since it is always in sync with the QBO app. Any task you do or information you add in the app shows up on the web, and vice versa, and your data is always up-to-date and available. Feel free to visit our Reports page for more insights about managing your financial reports in QBO.
I'd like to know how you get on after trying the steps, as I want to ensure this is resolved for you. Please leave a comment below and I'll get back to you. You have a good one.
