Desktop App not working

We use QB online version but I always use the App on my desktop.

It stopped working yesterday, I deleted it and reinstalled but it still isn't working.

Just keeps saying loading please wait.

I can access if I go online and and login but find it easier using the app.

Any suggestions why it's stopped working?  It's a new PC running windows 10.

Mine has been down for a week, it worked breifly (about 2 minutes) then went down again. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling - no joy. Any tips on this?

Mine has been playing up for at least a week I'm having to hold shift when starting and signin everytime

Yeah mine is still playing up however the best work around at the moment as mentioned above is holding shift when opening the program which resets it on restart. This however means signing in every time.

Still no official word from Iniuit from what I have seen!

I went to the Help menu and reset the apps data. That worked for me! Good Luck.

I reported the same problem a while back but nothing has resolved the issue to date. I am able to make the app work on Windows 10 and on a desktop PC identical to my main PC. That leads me to believe there is a computer setting causing issues but have not resolved what setting could be causing the problem.

I have resolved this, turns out the app uses TLS1.0 (insecure!). This was disabled on my computer. I have temporarily enabled it and the app works again. PCI compliance means TLS1.0 is dead on 30th June 2018 - MAYBE quickbooks might want to update their software to use TLS1.1 or TLS1.2

 I didn't need to enable TLS1.0.  To fix app not working click on Help and then choose Reset App Date.
