How do I integrate mandates from gocardless toquickbooks?

Please see our guide here for details of connecting the GoCardless app within QuickBooks, once you have this setup you'll then be able to import mandates by following the steps below:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon next to your company name and select Lists > All Lists.
  2. Click Import mandates.Things to remember:
    • Mandates that can be imported from GoCardless are listed.
    • Only active mandates from GoCardless can be imported. Mandates that have been already imported do not appear on this list. Mandates that are in a currency other than GBP or mandates that are not preauthorised do not appear either.
    • We attempt to automatically match mandates from GoCardless with your existing QuickBooks customers, based on their name and email address.
  3. Use the drop-downs to match the mandates with the customers, if needed.
  4. Change or type in the email of the customer as it appears in QuickBooks, if you need to.
  5. Click Import.
