Shows tax error when sending. Tax value has become a toggle tab that just says taxable.

There are a few things we can perform to ensure you can send your quotes or estimates using the QuickBooks Online (QBO) app, Ryan.

First, let's review the configuration of your tax rate, products and services, or any other details related to the invoices and quotes you're attempting to send. You'll have to open your account on a web browser to verify this.

Next, ensure you’re using the latest version of the QBO app. Check for updates in the App Store (iOS).

Then, refresh the app to remove any errors causing the issues. Refreshing essentially clears the cache and resets the settings.

You can follow the steps below:

  1. Launch the app and navigate to the Menu icon.
  2. Tap the All option, and select Intuit Account & Settings.
  3. Choose Refresh Data and tap on Refresh Now to confirm.

If the issue persists, the next step is to clear the app’s data to refresh it and remove potential causes. Here’s how:

  1. Go to Settings, then tap General.
  2. Tap iPhone Storage, then tap the QBO app.
  3. Tap Offload App.

On top of that, you can uninstall and reinstall the QBO app for a fresh start with the latest updates and bug fixes.

I'll share an article about how to customize your sales forms. Please note that this option is only accessible when using QBO through a web browser. You can find the article here: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks.

Feel free to leave a comment below if you have further questions about managing your sales transactions using the QBO app.
