Glad to have you here, richard78.

 

Allow me first to take this opportunity to thank you for using QuickBooks Online. If you created your account within the last 90 days you'll be able to 'purge' the company. Please note that this process only works for QuickBooks Online Plus and Essentials users. The system deletes all data entered into the company, and you're unable to restore them.

 

To purge a company:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online Company.
  2. Change the URL to include /purgecompany.
  3. Example: Change https://sg.qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage to https://sg.qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany.
  4. The next screen will provide a summary of the items to delete. 
  5. Type Yes, and then select OK.

If your account is created for more than 90 days, you'll have to cancel the account and start a new subscription.

 

To cancel account:

 

  1. Go to Settings and select Account and Settings.
  2. Select the Billing and Subscription tab.
  3. Select Cancel Subscription.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.

You can then start a new company. Please use this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/uk/
