I am using SKUs, I thought to help with this issue. But my inventory counts are not changing in quickbooks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello there, Jorge. Let's ensure your settings are properly configured to reflect your inventory quantity in QuickBooks. I'm here to provide further details below.
To begin, log in to your QuickBooks Online account. Then, navigate to the Apps section, find the eBay by QuickBooks app, and reconfigure the settings as necessary.
For step-by-step instructions on configuring the settings, please visit the Configure settings section in this helpful article: Connect eBay to QuickBooks Online.
If the issue persists even after you've configured the settings correctly, I recommend contacting their support team for additional assistance.
Additionally, you can run an inventory report to see the status of your stock.
Please return to this thread if you have further questions about configuring your eBay inventory to QuickBooks, Jorge. We're here to help you in any way we can.
Hi the problem is that I don't have the option to reconfigure the app connection. I have a settings section but that doesn't have anything about inventory updates as you describe. For added information I do have the QBO subscription tier that tracks inventory.
Thanks for getting back here in the Community, @jorge.
To be able to make your inventory within QuickBooks be updated after a sale. We need to ensure that proper configuration settings are set up correctly for integration to work in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'll provide some details below.
The configuration process below will present you with various options regarding exactly how you want your eBay and QuickBooks Online integration to work.
1. Before you begin configuring your workflows, you need to establish your synchronization preferences. You will need to set up the following:
2. You will encounter various workflows that you may choose to implement, all of which are optional. This guide will feature selected workflows to showcase the full potential of the setup process:
Furthermore, for stock update, you will need to synchronize stock levels between QuickBooks Online and eBay, check the box labeled When Stock Levels are updated in QuickBooks Online, update Stock Levels in eBay. Choose whether to match items by Name or SKU.
For detailed instructions on proceeding to the next step, please refer to this article: Connect eBay to QuickBooks Online.
Another reason the QuickBooks Connector is unable to transfer stock levels is, cost prices, and tax information from an e-commerce system to QuickBooks Online products. Additionally, it is unable to sync stock levels between different e-commerce platforms due to the lack of inventory control during sales transactions.
You can check this article for more information about how to integrate your stock levels between e-commerce systems in QuickBooks Online: Stock control between e-commerce and QuickBooks Online with OneSaas.
Additionally, as QuickBooks Online relies on data shared with eBay, we advise contacting the eBay Support Team for assistance with implementing a workflow in your application. They can also confirm if QuickBooks accommodates this workflow for your transactions.
With that, here is an article you can read to help you use reports for gaining insights on the products you buy and sell, as well as the status of your stock in QBO: Use reports to see your sales and stock status in QuickBooks Online.
