how do i back date the start of quickbooks to this april

We appreciate you for reaching out, @robinis

To provide you with the most accurate guidance, I'd like to ask a few clarifying questions regarding your initial setup:

First, may I ask if you're just getting started with QuickBooks Online? If so, have you begun entering data yet, or is your account still empty? This information will help determine the best way to backdate your data. Also, could you specify which function you need to apply historical data to, as QuickBooks Online allows this for different features.

Secondly, when you mentioned the "package option," did you mean the subscription plan you chose for QuickBooks Online, or were you referring about a specific feature you were trying to set up in QuickBooks?

Please note that the subscription start date in QuickBooks Online is fixed and cannot be changed. However, the financial data entry start date can be adjusted. You can enter transactions with past dates to reflect your operations starting from April. Also, If you have your financial data downloaded as CSV file format, you can manually import this into QuickBooks Online:

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon, then select Import Data under the TOOLS column.
  2. Choose the data block to import, then drag or browse for the file.
  3. Click Continue.
  4. Map the data, then click Next to continue.
  5. Click Done.

Alternatively, If you haven't connected your bank account yet to QBO to have your bank transactions downloaded automatically. You can visit this article for more guidance: Connect your bank or credit card to QuickBooks
