I'll help you update your bank details for direct debits in QuickBooks Self-Employed, Wallis.

 

Before we start, are you referring to your QuickBooks subscription and the direct debit payment method? Or are you referring to tax-related direct debits, such as VAT or Self-Assessment payments? If it's about your QuickBooks subscription, you can follow the steps below:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed using a web browser.
  2. Click on your Profile icon, then select Billing Info.
  3. In the Payment Information section, click Edit.
  4. Within the Wallet list, you can:
    • Update the payment method used for QuickBooks Online billing (e.g., expiration date, billing address, and account holder name).
    • Add a new payment method for QuickBooks Online billing.
    • Switch QuickBooks Online billing to a previously saved payment method.

 

After saving your changes, your updated payment method will appear in the Payment Information section.

 

If you have multiple Intuit subscriptions, you can use the Intuit Payment Wallet to manage and retrieve payment methods for all your subscriptions.

 

Meanwhile, if you are referring to HMRC tax-related direct debits and want to update your bank account for those, you must manage this directly through your HMRC online account.
