I can’t link my bank details to the app

To start and ensure we're on the same page, are you referring to connecting your online banking to the QuickBooks Sole Trader application? If so, can you tell me what happens when you try to connect it? Did you encounter any errors?

 

If not, we can check your bank's website to see if everything is functioning well on their end or if there's ongoing maintenance that hinders your bank from connecting to the application.

 

Otherwise, let's ensure that your application is up-to-date to have the latest improvements and fixes available. If the same problem occurs, we can uninstall and reinstall the application to start fresh. Additionally, you can access your QuickBooks Sole Trader via mobile and web browsers and link your bank account from there. 

 

However, if you are referring to something else, can you elaborate on your concern so I can provide a better resolution?

 

Once resolved, you can start categorizing the transactions you download from your bank for better insights into where money is being spent, where it's coming from, or how it's transferred in QuickBooks. You can also use bank rules to automatically categorize recurring or similar transactions.
