I have a subscription but it says I don't then I re subscribe and says I already am. Won't let me do anything.

I have a subscription but it says I don't then I re subscribe and says I already am. Won't let me do anything.

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps so you can use any feature when resubscribing your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, smidall56. 

 

Have you tried logging in to your QBO accounts? If you're able to log in before, we can review the billing and subscription to ensure the payment has been processed. Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks.
  2. Go to Settings and select Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Review the information in each section.
  4. Click View payment history to view the last 6 months’ bills.

 

If it is not successful, we can re-subscribe your account in QBO. Please follow the steps below:

 

  1. Select the Gear icon, then choose Accounts and settings under Your Company.
  2. Go to Billing & Subscription, select Resubscribe, then enter the updated billing information.
  3. Click Resubscribe.

If the same things happen, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to see if the issue is within your browser. We can open a private or incognito window in the browser to open QBO with a clean slate and load fresh data. Here's how:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

 

If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. The collection of data over time can create corruption, however, removing this should fix the issue. Also, you can utilize another supported browser or device if this doesn't work. This happens when the current browser you're using has a temporary issue with the program.
