Hi there, Ptsmartrepairs. QuickBooks operates on a subscription sync logic. Because the Sole Trader Plus plan is part of a more advanced platform, the upgrade process depends entirely on how you currently pay for your subscription.
Before upgrading your subscription, we recommend downloading your Profit & Loss and Tax Summary reports for the current year. While QuickBooks is very good at migrating your data, having a backup gives you total peace of mind.
If you pay through the QuickBooks website, you can upgrade your plan by navigating to the Gear icon > Subscriptions and billing > Upgrade your plan > Sole Trader Plus.
If you pay via the Apple App Store or Google Play, your billing is currently managed externally. You'll need to contact our support team to migrate your account to Intuit billing. Once transferred, you will be able to switch plans easily.
