Hello Community users, we just wanted to pop in and update this thread. The issue with linking the kinetic bank account was resolved September 2022.
You must use the QuickBooks mobile app to connect HSBC Kinetic accounts going forward.

I'd like to provide some details regarding this issue and help point you in the right direction for support.
We’re aware that some customers are unable to connect the HSBC Kinetic bank account to QuickBooks Online (QBO). Rest assured, we have raised this to the engineering team who manages this product area for further investigation and they're working diligently to resolve it.
While we're unable to tell when this issue will be resolved, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They can add you to our notification list, and you'll receive an email notification once an update is available. You can present this investigation number (INV-75250) to our representative as your reference.
