Hi there, scarlett-carthy.
I suggest checking your bank's website since it just opens, but there's no connection. From there, you can verify if there's an issue that can cause it to lose connection with QBO every time there are updates. You can refer to this article to see the steps: What to do if bank transactions won’t download or there's a bank error.
If everything is good on your bank website and still unable to connect, I recommend accessing your account via an incognito window. It does not store data, which makes it a good place to start to see if there are any issues with the browser.
Here’s how to open a private window:
- For Chrome press Ctrl+Shift+N.
- For Internet Explorer or Firefox, press Ctrl+Shift+P.
- For Safari, hold down Command+Shift+N.
If it works in incognito, clear the cache of your regular browser. Doing this helps QBSE to function more efficiently. You can check out this article that will provide more information: Clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files.
If the steps above didn't work, use other supported browsers as alternatives.
You may refer to this article on how to review your transactions to avoid duplicate entries: Match and categorise bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns. Wishing you and your business continued success.
