Sales by Product / Service Summary not working in modern view on one account but working in another account. Does anyone else have this problem?

Sales by product / service summary does not work in modern view but will work if you switch to classic view. This only happens with one user (we have three; one for the accountant, one for company admin & one standard user. It works in the company admin mode, but not in the standard user mode. Anyone have any ideas why this might be please? I have spoke with Ricardo at Quickbooks but that was a week ago, and I have heard nothing since. We use it to create a list of products for each day, so it is something that we can't do without. I am concerned that when / if the option to switch to classic view is removed, we are stuck! Help please.

Let's investigate what might have gone wrong with your employee's access, @enquiries49.

 

Start by ensuring that they have the correct access in standard mode and that the filters, such as Report Period, Accounting Method, and General filters, are set correctly.

 

As a Primary admin, you can also edit your employee's access.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Manage users.
  3. Find the user.
  4. To change the access, click Edit.
  5. Change the user's role from the dropdown menu.
  6. Then, Done.

 

Also, the option to switch back to the "classic view" in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is temporary and will be removed as the new interface becomes the standard.
