Hi mrrichard, yes, it should stay connected after upgrading to QuickBooks Sole Trader Plus. Could you also let us know the name of your bank?
Since your bank transactions haven’t updated after the upgrade, let’s try refreshing the connection manually. You can do this by going to All apps > Accounting > Bank transactions, then selecting your bank tile and clicking Refresh.
If the issue persists, you can also check out your bank's official website for any alerts, maintenance, or outages that could be affecting your bank feeds.
