Unable to log into the QuickBooks Self-Employed mobile app

I have been using QuickBooks self-employed for many years and have found it to be just what I needed.  I know that new users now cannot use QuickBooks Self-employed and that existing users can continue to use the app, but I have found a problem logging in to the mobile app today (on an iPhone 15 plus).  When I try to sign in I get the error "Too much time has elapsed. Please start over".  Why is this happening and how do I start over? Can anyone help please?

You'll need to do some quick steps to fix most app-related issues.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Clear app data. To do this:
    1. Open your device Settings.
    2. Select Apps.
    3. Choose QuickBooks app from the list, then select Storage.
    4. Select Offload Data.
  2. Power down and restart your device.
  3. Uninstall and reinstall the app.

 

By doing this, you're resetting your QBSE mobile app data in your phone to ensure that all necessary files are running efficiently.
