Wont let me reconnect bank account. Got message saying select account but wont let me select it and continue. Any help?

Let's perform browser troubleshooting steps so you can reconnect with your bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Before we proceed, may I know the name of your bank account? Sharing the name of your bank can help look for any reported banking issues related to it.

 

That being said, consider logging into your QuickBooks Online account using an incognito or private window of your browser. You can follow the following shortcut keys below for easy access:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox and Safari: Ctrl Shift P

If it works in this mode, you can clear your regular browser's cache. But if not, you can use other supported browsers listed in this article: Find out what computer and browser you need for the best QuickBooks experience.

Wont let me reconnect bank account. Got message saying select account but wont let me select it and continue. Any help?

Lloyds bank. No still will not work in the above. I believe it will be a quickbooks issue so probably take a few weeks to sort if im really lucky. if not a couple months as they are useless to address issues

I'm here to help you resolve the error you're having with to connect your bank successfully, @planttechsouthwe

 

Let's resolve the error you're having by re-authorising the connection. Bur first, make sure to add and match your transactions under the For Review tab. Check this article for more information: Match your bank transactions. Once done, you can now disconnect and reconnect the bank account.

 

To disconnect the bank account:

  1. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  2. Click the blue bank square for Lloyds bank.
  3. Select the Edit (✎) icon in the tile for the bank account and choose Edit account infobank edit.JPG
  4. Hit on the Disconnect this account on save checkbox. 
  5. Tap on Save and closedisconnect bank.JPG

To reconnect the bank account:

  1. Go back to the Banking menu and click on Add account or Link accountlink account.JPG
  2. Search for your bank and select Continue. Read through the terms and conditions, then select Agree.
  3. Follow the steps on your bank's internet banking page to authorise QuickBooks to connect to your bank account. 
  4. Select the bank accounts you want to connect, and which accounts they will link to in QuickBooks.
  5. Click Connect.
