After connecting the wise bank with the bank book all the transactions from beginning are showing open how to solve this?

Hello, Punita.

Let me explain why transactions appear as open after connecting your Wise Bank account to QuickBooks Online.

QuickBooks Online treats every imported transaction as new and open until you take action to confirm its accuracy by categorizing it or matching it to existing entries.

To address this, review the transactions in the Pending tab and categorize or match each one accordingly. If you have already entered transactions such as invoices, bills, or expenses, you will need to match them to the corresponding bank feed transactions.

Here’s how to do this:

  1. Go to the All apps menu.
  2. Select Accounting and click Bank transactions.
  3. In the Match/Categorize column under the Pending section, look for suggested matches. Select the transaction or click the sparkle icon to expand the details.
  4. Review the suggested matches in the Match suggestion column and select the appropriate one to see more information.
  5. Click the Post button to complete the process.
  6. If the suggestion isn’t correct, choose Find other match to search for the accurate transaction.

If you encounter duplicate transactions or transactions already reconciled, you can exclude them from the Pending tab to avoid duplication.

After reviewing and categorizing, reconcile your account to ensure your books balance correctly and reflect accurate financial data. For guidance, you may visit this article: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

We are still here to provide further assistance regarding this matter.
