Apperance of the Banking section

I'm using QuickBooks to record the transactions of my two companies, and I have already connected my bank accounts to QuickBooks. Typically, the bank accounts appeared in the banking section like tiles. (check screenshot 1) But recently, It has changed when logging into one of my companies. (check screenshots 2 and 3) The issue was with only one company.

When it displays like a tile, I can easily recognize the bank balance of the account and the bank balance of the QuickBooks and the difference between them.

Can anyone explain what happens here, and is there any way to change the view of these bank accounts?

I appreciate any help you can provide.

Hi DileepaNirmal There is a menu cursor located under the 'link account field' (not the menu cursor to the right of link account) if you select the cursor it will expand/show the banking tiles.

I got you, @DileepaNirmal.

I appreciate your effort with providing the screenshots. Let me shed some light on the different views in the banking section within QuickBooks Online.

There are two ways to view your account in QuickBooks Online: business view and accountant view. Your default view is determined by the information you provide if you first set up QuickBooks. You can change between them at any time. Changing your perspective does not affect your transactions or records.

If you're new to accounting, we recommend starting with a business view. This allows you to do your financial reporting without having to learn complex accounting terms or processes. Use accountant view if you have accounting experience or want full control over features.

Here's How to switch views:

  1. Select the Gear icon.
  2. Then Switch to the Business view or Switch to the Accountant view under the Profile column.

I'm adding this article to recognize the distinctions between the business and accounting viewpoints: Switch between Business and Accountant view in QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, learn how to set up and use banking tab in QuickBooks Online, from linking your account to matching bank transactions and adjusting your accounts. Visit this article for more information: Online Banking guide for QuickBooks Online.

I'm few clicks away if you need further help with QuickBooks view preferences. Have a nice day.

I already switched the views and it doesn't change the view of the list of bank accounts.
